Dr. Marco Iacoboni

Professor, Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA


Dr. Marco Iacoboni is a Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at University of California, Los Angeles. He is also the Director of the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Lab at the Ahmanson-Lovelace Brain Mapping Center where he and his team investigate human brain functions in health and disease using non invasive techniques. Additionally, as one of the world’s leading researchers in the field of 'mirror neurons,' Dr. Iacoboni authored the groundbreaking book “Mirroring People: The Science of Empathy and How We Connect with Others.”

Senior Research Scientist, Duke Center for Child and Family Policy


Dr. Katie D. Rosanbalm is the Senior Research Scientist at the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy. She is trained as a child clinical and quantitative psychologist. Her work focuses on program implementation and evaluation in the areas of early childhood systems, self-regulation development, child welfare, and trauma-sensitive schools.

Shanna Donhauser, LICSW is an Infant, Early Childhood, and Couples Psychotherapist as well as the Founder of Happy Nest Therapy. Additionally, she is a minority mental health specialist for Latin(x) populations and has become an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Certified Therapist.

Dr. Kostadin Kushlev is a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. He currently leads the Happy Tech lab at Georgetown’s Department of Psychology where he aims to elucidate the psychological processes behind human health, happiness, and flourishing in the modern digitized human environment.

Kari Cifarelli, MPH, is the Operations Manager for the New Haven MOMS Partnership℠. She has worked in the research field for the past 12 years focusing on women’s mental health. Currently, she manages the overall operations of the New Haven MOMS, and is responsible for supporting organizational processes, and to assist with the quality, productivity and efficiency of the program.

Scaling Project Specialist at Elevate


Maria Sperduto, MPH, is the Scaling Project Specialist at Elevate, tailoring and establishing the implementation of the MOMS Partnership® model with government and community partners in emerging scaling sites. She is also a Program Consultant to the Good Life Center at Yale.
